SOS has been the gathering place for women to find restoration, encouragement and prayer through their fellow sisters. Good News Partners is blessed to have the opportunity to celebrate 8 years of Sisters of Strength this October.
For almost 2 years, God has been using C,24/7 (Christian 24 hours a day, 7 days a week) to impact the GNP neighborhood. Men are being transformed, violence is decreasing, young boys are building healthy relationships with classmates, and most importantly, God's power is being made evident to the community. Here are a few of the faces of the men and young boys involved in the Bible Study and After School Program. Check out the video here.
Great food, silent auction, live music and dancing, inspiration from our Founder, Bud Ogle, all added to a wonderful evening at the Good News Partners Annual Dinner on October 25th, 2013. We are seeking ways to further our students' educational opportunities as well as expanding our employment and schooling opportunities for adults. Click here to read about a few of our programs that are already in place at GNP and see how you can be a part of furthering our educational opportunities of those in the neighborhood.
Children in this neighborhood see gang violence and gang recruitment as a constant reality in their lives. With our newest after school program up and running, C-24, Good News Partners is helping to provide a safe, fun and caring environment for over 20 elementary school boys, 3 days a week.
Jimi's unique role in the Good News Partners neighborhood serves as model for those who are in need of hope and motivation in the midst of trials and tribulations. God has been with jimi creating a hope-filled and succesful life despite his challenging childhood.
