New Life invites each family to re-discover God's love, forgiveness, and call. We know the point of hopelessness and despair require very tangible love and hope which we discover in Jesus Christ and which we are committed to help each family find in the way most effective and powerful for them.

New Life provides shelter, food, and a safe and supportive environment to over three hundred women and children per year. Our goal is to empower women to deal with the complex problems, whether short-term or cyclical, that have led to their homelessness.

The dormitory-style residence, converted from an auto repair garage, contains a large kitchen area with ample food storage and preparation facilities. There is a dining area, a sitting area with library and television, conference rooms, a play room, and laundry facilities. The house is supervised by the residential staff, who assist families with meal preparation and daily living skills.

To assist a resident to recognize choices that can build more secure lives for themselves and their children, New Life requires:

Participation in contracting/case management working to establish and realize personal and family goals.
A savings plan for income and food stamps.
Daily chore assignments.
Required attendance at meetings/programs that address issues underlying homelessness.
Curfew.

The average length of stay for a family is 120 days or as long as staff and families realize significant progression being made to accomplish essential goals.
