| Donte grew up in the North of Howard Neighborhood, and was a Rogers Park Peace Award winner. He has certificates from Navy Pier Stand for Peace, Rites of Passage (Leadership), Vista Leadership Development, and Just Us Arts (Performing). | |

| Damascus is an ordained minister with a M.Div. from Chicago Theological Seminary. He is the associate minister at Harvey Memorial Community Church and active in the Rainbow Push Coalition. His bachelor degree is in Finance, and he has extensive experience in the business world. | |

| Hendretha has 25 years experience as a case manager and counselor. Before joining Good News Partners, she worked for Lutheran Social Services, Housing Opportunity for Women, and New Moms, Inc., with particular expertise in addiction counseling and family assessment. | |

| Peter has seven years experience as a youth advocate. He holds a BA in Philosophy and a BA in History, and has an Elementary Education Certificate (Ohio). As a Northwestern University student in the mid-1970’s, he was involved with Good News Partners at its inception. | |

| Leah has several years in Non-Profit management. She began her career in 1979 as the Executive Director of the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Leah has continued to grow in Non-Profit management over the years, most recently as Resource Development Manager at San Jose Obrero Mission. | |

| Ann has been working with struggling readers in the North of Howard neighborhood for over thirteen years. She has a Master of Arts in Teaching and a specialty degree in reading, and is a member of the International Reading Association. | |
